Over Labor Day weekend Susan, Jake and I attended the 2nd Annual International Bigfoot Conference in Kennewick, Washington. Sasquatch Coffee was one of the sponsors of the conference and was also a
vendor there. From what I saw there were a lot more people this year than last year (I know we sold quite a bit more coffee than last year) :-)
We brought our Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Bob Gimlin Blend to the conference and it was a BIG hit. If you haven't heard, we made an agreement with
Bob in exchange for him allowing us to use his image we'd pay him $15.00 for each bag sold. Bob has always been so generous with his time at conferences and in general that I thought it'd be cool to give back to him.
Seeing as we went through most of the first 100 bags already I was able to present Bob with a check for $1,500 at the conference. He was speechless (which, if
you know Bob, doesn't happen often-lol).
I'm hoping to be able to present Bob with another check or 2 before it's over. So I'll be bringing more of our Bob Gimlin Blend to another couple of upcoming events (Willow Creek and the Sasquatch Summit) unless they sell out entirely before then (which COULD happen).
