This came up recently in my Facebook feed (thank you Zuckerberg).  I had a young lady named Caitlyn that worked for me at the Food Basket (the little supermarket I owned for almost 19 years in Garibaldi, Oregon).  When I was starting Sasquatch Coffee she created this mock up of a logo.  Yes, originally it was going to be Bigfoot Coffee, but that's another story. This showed up in my feed because it'd been 11 years since I posted it.  11 years! Wow!

That reminded me that early on a friend of mine (Mitch) suggested that I might create a '12th Man' coffee for fans of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks.  So I did and I even ended up talking with Richard Sherman's mom about the possibility of her son promoting it.  That didn't work out, but we did sell quite a few.  There were 2 kinds 'Beast Mode' and 'Legion of Boom'.  It all was going pretty good until I received a 'Cease and Desist' letter from Texas A&M (who owns the phrase '12th man') .  I had talked to a copyright attorney who had told me I should be ok, it just depended on how aggressively Texas A&M wanted to be.  So that ended '12th Man' coffee, at least for me.  Texas A&M must have thought it was a pretty good idea though, because they now sell their own '12th man' coffee.

On October 20th, 1967 Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin captured what many believe to be a female Bigfoot in Northern California.  57 years later it still stands as the best footage ever captured.
